LENs Report Definitions

The LENs Report is broken up into 2 main segment views: New vs. Existing and Activity Level

 

New vs. Existing

(All numbers you see in this view refer to the specific reporting period you have selected at the top.)

New CustomersCustomers whose first transaction was in this reporting period

Existing Customers = Customers that have transacted at least once before reporting period and also transacted in this reporting period

 

Activity Level

(In this view, all numbers except for the ActiveLapsing, Lapsed and Lost customer counts refer to the specific reporting period you have selected at the top. These four customer counts show the activity status of all your customers at this given point in time.)

Active Customers Everyone else

Lapsing Customers = Customers starting to deviate from normal buying behavior

Lapsed CustomersCustomers who have deviated from normal buying behavior

Lost Customers Customers who have not come back in more than x months. Typically 12 (customized by client)

 

From these 2 main segments, you have the ability to filter your view down to specific sub-segments: Daypart, Frequency and Weekpart. If you are in the New vs. Existing main segment, you have the option of choosing Activity Level as a sub-segment as well.  

 

 

Dayparts

Mostly Lunch = Customers who have more than 70% of their transactions during lunch hours

Mostly DinnerCustomers who have more than 70% of their transactions during dinner hours

Mostly LatenightCustomers who have more than 70% of their transactions during latenight hours

Balanced Daypart = Everyone else

        * (Dayparts are customized by client)

 

Frequency

1 Visit = Customers who have only one transaction

n Visits = Customers who have exactly n transactions

x to y Visits = Customers who have at least x transactions and no more than y transactions

n+ Visits = Customers who have at least n transactions

 

Weekparts

Mostly Weekday = Customers who have more than 70% of their transactions during a weekday

Mostly Weekend = Customers who have more than 70% of their transactions during a weekend

Balanced Weekpart = Everyone else
